Discover the journey of AK Wellness & Tanning LLC, a salon founded in 2018 by Vanessa, an Army Veteran dedicated to providing affordable, scientifically backed, and natural services. Specializing in Photobiomodulation Therapy (commonly called Red-Light Therapy), Vanessa is a Board Certified Light Therapist with the Board of Advanced Natural Health Sciences and is committed to your well-being. Additionally, Vanessa is a Certified Compression Specialist and Pressotherapy Specialist, having completed training in Pneumatic Compression Therapy. She has also completed training and is certified in the specialized field of Infrared Saunas and Body Wraps.

At AK Wellness & Tanning LLC, we strive to be as knowledgeable as possible in our field so we can pass this knowledge along to our customers. Our salon is a Smart Tan Certified salon, having completed extensive training in UV tanning, which enables us to provide our customers with personalized exposure suggestions tailored to their individual skin types. Different skin types require different levels of exposure.​
